ARTIST STATEMENT
Human behavior has always been fascinating to us.
It is intriguing how the curious and interactive minds of humans drive them to explore nature, the environment, or phenomena and understand the truth behind them through observation and interaction. How, by simply being conscious, humans procure knowledge and thoughts.
Our art works aim to conceptualise around nature in this context, prompting our audiences to interact with them and understand the meaning behind them through their own inquisitiveness, perceptions, and reflections. We want our audiences to walk away from our art experiences with ideas and questions that inspire them to consider more important issues in life and our world.
About Us
DDMY STUDIO was founded (2010) by Nakarin Rodput and Araya Suwan (married couple). At the beginning, the team worked with local businesses and artists in Chiang Mai and Bangkok, Thailand for video production, motion graphic, technical installation and sound design.
Nowadays, we have extended our interests into the art field, especially interactive art based on people behavior, distance, time, space and sound. We make art that can interact with audiences.
We hope to help people realize our message through interaction with our projects.
